All it lacks is Neo, entering the door of light.
Marina Bay Sands has been functional for quite some time now. Apart from really pricey food (had a friend who had a $50 bowl of laksa), it is a popular spot for photography. I’ve seen some really nice landscape photos from the spot.
Apparently this place wasn’t constructed from loose change found around the tourism office; from daily light shows to gargantuan man-made wishing wells (fitted with over the top hydraulic pipes), it apparently aims to deliver the best she-bang for tourists.
Pretty seats that light up when someone is planted on it.
But I wouldn’t lose sleep about operating costs though, as long as the little den called the casino continues to rake in the dollars.
